Hi neighbor,

With the District 2 race on the Nov. 3 ballot, a lot of you have asked what Commissioner Victoria Bruce is actually focused on. Her campaign laid it out in four priorities, so here they are in plain terms.

1\. Taxpayer affordability. She voted to build the FY 2027 budget at the rollback rate, and she says she'll push for a 12-month pause on the next water and sewer increases.

2\. Clean water. She supported the new East wastewater plant at $65.8 million, which came in under budget. Both plants together are now estimated at $158 million.

3\. Public safety. Crime in Winter Springs fell 19% from 2023 to 2025\. Her position is to fill the frozen officer spots and cut somewhere else first.

4\. Smart growth. Infrastructure Before Approval on every project. She defended the Rural Boundary and kept tree fund dollars going to trees.

Worth a read before you vote. The full details are on her site.
