The person behind the page

I Love Oviedo Winter Springs is run by Bryan Bruce, who lives in Winter Springs and has spent more than 30 years in marketing and media. He grew up around Central Florida's tourism industry and his father helped market the opening of The EPCOT Center and built a career in hospitality and digital marketing before founding the Winter Springs firm Your Brand Voice in 2009.

He started this page for a simple reason, he wanted the kind of straight, local coverage he couldn't always find for the place he calls home. It's part of a small network of Central Florida community pages that include Cocoa Beach and Dr. Phillips/Windermere areas, built on the same idea.

Transparency and disclosures

We think you should know who's telling you the news, and where the lines are.

Bryan is married to Victoria Bruce, who serves as a Winter Springs City Commissioner and is a candidate for re-election in November 2026, and he handles marketing for her. For a page that covers Winter Springs, that's a real conflict of interest and we'd rather name it plainly than leave you to wonder.

Here's how we handle it:

Campaign work never runs here. Anything Bryan creates for Victoria's campaign or for any marketing client, lives on those channels, not on this page, and is never presented as news.

We stay out of the race for her seat. Because Bryan is married to Victoria and handles her campaign marketing, this page does not cover the contest for her seat. We won't cover her opponents, favorably or critically and we won't promote her campaign. For coverage of the November 2026 election and the candidates in it, we encourage you to seek out other independent sources like the Oviedo Community News.

Coverage of the Commission stays factual. When Winter Springs Commission business is news, we report what happened, the votes, the records, the public meeting without characterizing Victoria's role, and with no more attention than any other member of the board receives.

Victoria is not a source. Our reporting is built on public records, public meetings, and named, on-the-record voices and never on Bryan's relationship with a sitting commissioner.
