Trees, lakes and growth: Victoria Bruce's record
A fact check on the canopy, Lake Jesup and the Rural Boundary.
Hi neighbor,
If you care about the trees, the lakes and how fast Winter Springs is growing, here's Commissioner Victoria Bruce's record in four points.
Tree canopy. She championed Ordinance 2025-16 so tree fund dollars go to planting and caring for trees, not trucks and removals.
Smart growth. Infrastructure Before Approval on every project, meaning traffic, drainage and utilities get handled before a project moves forward.
Clean lakes and waterways. Creek clearing, co-funding the Lake Jesup water quality plan (BMAP), and flood control at Wetland Park on Michael Blake Blvd.
Rural boundaries. Standing firm against over-development near Lake Jesup to keep our rural buffers and conservation land.
Her campaign put it simply: protecting our environment isn't a slogan, it's how you vote. The fact check page links to the sources.
Paid for and approved by Victoria Bruce, for Winter Springs City Commissioner, District 2.
